Rainy River District Community Policing Committee![]() The Rainy River District Community Policing Committee is pleased to continue police led safety presentations to all District youth in grades Kindergarten through Grade 5.
This year, the theme for Project Safe Halloween activities will be "Do the BRIGHT thing!" Together, we will encourage children to stay safe and stay visible! Our partnership will highlight a classroom video by 3M called No White At Night followed by an in-classroom presentation and a brochure to take home to share with family members. In addition, the Community Policing Committee will ensure all District youth between early learning through Grade 8 will receive a reusable 3M Scotchlite reflective arm band to wear, just like on the video! We ask caregivers to help us encourage kids to wear their reflective bands on Halloween at night while trick-or-treating... and all year round! Happy Halloween!
